PLAN BEE

Play as a queen bee tasked to pollinate flowers. You all should know that the queen shouldn't actually be the one doing all the hard work! Here, you'll recruit worker bees and guide them towards flowers to pollinate them, making them more docile letting you reap the fruits of your labor: Nectar! This, along with other rewards from other flowers help you pollinate as many flowers as you can 'till the day's work is done!

Controls

Right from the start, you're asked to chose between two control schemes: Buttons or Mouse. The two main differences are that the two action buttons are replaced by mouse clicks, and you point your mouse to direct your bees. Arrow keys are not changed. I do not recommend using the mouse control scheme with a mouse-pad!

You use the arrows keys to fly around, hold the X/Left Click button to expand your recruit radius and release said button to recruit the bees in that radius. If you're using the Buttons control scheme, pressing O will push your target in whatever direction you are currently/last held your arrow keys. Recruiting homing bees is a tricky task button-wise! When you're able, while you're recruiting (Holding X/Left Click), at the same time, also hold O/Right Click to change the color of the circle. You will only recruit homing bees if you do it while the circle is red!, so make sure to release X/Left Click before you release O/Right Click.

How To Play

Your goal is to use any many bees as you can to pollinate flowers before running out of honey. Flowers are dangerous, spouting waves of vines across the screen. Keeping a close eye on their petals to see if they're about to attack, as well as learning how each flower type attacks will help you with dodging vines. Docile them with five of your bees (un-recruited bees won't help you out!). The flowers themselves don't deal damage, only the vines, but it'd still stay far from them and let those hard-worker bees take care of them for you!

Only, once a flower is taken care of, you can now safely move up to it and take a small upgrade from the remains!

- Red Flowers give you a good amount of nectar (try not to pick one up if your nectar jar is full!)

- Orange Flowers give you a piece of honey. Grab three of these and you'll get a whole new chunk to your health! (Also, grabbing orange flowers gives you a second of protection from attacks!)

- Blue Flowers give you antenna or some shit i dunno. These will make your recruitment circle grow faster!

When your nectar is full, you have the opportunity to recruit homing bees! Refer to the controls section if you're having a hard time executing it (you will at first). These bees automatically lock onto a random enemy. These bees are faster than regular recruited bees, and in most cases (except for hard mode) they deal more damage!

Difficulty

This game can get hard. There is so much happening on screen and things escalate very quickly, which is why I gave varying difficulties to chose from. These difficulties don't change one thing in particular, but a bunch of small things:

- Starting Health

- Flower attack speed

- Flower spawn rate

- Bee spawn rate

- Gained nectar from red flowers

- Damage delt by homing bees
